Normal Heights Real Estate offers many pre-1900s California Bungalows and Spanish-style houses for sale, as well as Mid-Century Homes. Also, in the mix, you will notice several condos and apartment buildings. It is known as an urban-chic, up-and-coming neighborhood just north of its sister neighborhoods of North Park and Balboa Park and is one of the oldest communities in San Diego.
Normal Heights, previously named “Antique Row”. This is because many of the shops used to have antique furniture for sale. Sadly, many of those stores have closed down and replaced with restaurants that feature diverse menus, coffee shops, specialty shops, and breweries, which many locals frequent and enjoy.
It is a very walkable neighborhood that is dog-friendly with lots of parks to enjoy and a free-spirited community. Normal Heights has two concerts held every year. The Adams Avenue Street Fair is free to all. Also, there is the Kate Sessions Fair. This is put on by all of the local artists and musicians in the area.

Normal Heights is an excellent place for both the young and the old, as there is plenty to do for both. The Avenue Recreation Center is designed to cater to all ages. Some events include the Twilight Egg Hunt and Roots Festival, and weekly programs include arts and crafts, basketball, and many other activities.
Transportation is easily accessible via the 15 and 805 freeways. For those who do not drive or choose to leave the car at home, bus transportation is nearby.
Practicing physicians are numerous within the community of Normal Heights, and several hospitals within 5 miles.
