• The Haunted Trail of Balboa Park
From Sept. 29th- October 31, 2017, you can buy tickets that will allow you to walk the scary trail that you will not forget. Get ready to have the hairs on your neck to rise as you hear the sounds and see the sights that are around you.
• The Scream Zone
From Sept. 29th- October 31, 2017, the Haunted Hayride, the House of Horror and KarnEvil will be open and is one of the largest and scariest attractions around. Buy tickets on their website and be ready to have the “bejeezus” scared out of you.
• The Haunted Hotel
From Sept. 22nd – Oct. 31, 2017
Not for the faint of heart. Buy tickets and plan on being spooked with the scariest of all screaming that will take place and have you thinking that this is too real for comfort.
• The Savage House
From Sept. 28-Oct. 31, 2017
This Halloween Event may be too scary for some. This is a real Sanitarium that was originally built for some of the most dangerous and violent offenders. The horror storyline will have you shaking in your boots. It is located the at the Westfield Mission Valley Mall in the Target Parking lot.

Halloween for Kids in San Diego
Let’s not forget about the little kids on Halloween. Here are a few places where you can take the family for some not so scary but great fun.
• Trick-or-Treat on India Street
Bring the kids to Little Italy and enjoy trick-or-treating along the historic India Street as most all the businesses participate in handing out Halloween treats to the kids
• Boomont Park Fall Festival and Haunt
Celebrate all of October with riding the spooky roller coaster, pumpkin patch painting, and costume contest. Free trick or treating from 6:30-7:30 pm at Belmont Park at 3190 Mission Blvd.
• Legoland Brick-or-Treat Party Nights
Halloween excitement is going on with the extended Park open hours. Buy your tickets here and plan to have some fun.
Halloween is a great time of the year. It is fun simply walking around the different neighborhoods of San Diego and seeing all of the Halloween decorations. Lots of people get into creating haunted mansions out of their homes so it is always fun to drive through different neighborhoods.
